Mr. Smith began his reinsurance career in Lloyd’s of London as Assistant US Property Catastrophe Underwriter at Syndicate 694. He joined DP Mann Syndicate 435 in 1989 before moving to Bermuda as Senior Vice President, US Property Catastrophe Underwriter for Renaissance Re. Mr. Smith joined Atlantic Re in 2022 as Executive Vice President.
